Fasuba sets personal best![]() The race which was won by Namibian Frankie Fredericks in a time of 20.20 brought out the best in the Nigerian Olympic medallist. Fasuba, a member of the Nigerian 4x100meters quartet that won bronze at the just concluded Athens 2004 Olympics is optimistic of better days ahead. “I ran alongside the best athletes in Brussels and am not too disappointed with my fifth place finish because I can improve on that in subsequent events,” he told Nigeriasports.com The Heidelberg (Germany) based sprinter is however contented with his performance so far this season. “I cannot ask for more in life. God has been kind to me this season and the high point was wining an Olympic medal in Athens. “In Brussels I erased my old season’s best of 20.90 and such feats are rare in life but I look forward to more success on the track” he concluded.
