Samuel Peter keeps winning![]() Fighting in the main event Peter ‘the Nigerian nightmare’ won a one sided unanimous decision over Jovo Pudar of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The heavy-handed knockout artist Peter intimidated his opponent throughout the bout with some ring shaking power punches that Pudar spent most of the night trying to avoid. Fight news report has it that the early action saw Peter landing few but effective punches to the often retrieving Pudar, leaving no opportunity for his opponent to counter attack. Peter soon took advantage of his opponent’s complacency and tried to engage the Bosnian in an exchange of punches. The Akwa Ibom born Peter was devastating in the 6th round as he scored with his best contact of the fight in round 6 with a stunning overhand right and in round 7 landing several stinging blows that helped define the fight and separate their skill levels. Despite dominating the fight, Peter was forced to go the distance only for the second time in his career. With the victory Peter moves up to 20-0,17KO while Jovo Pudar goes down to 22-3,12KO. Promoter Dino Duva was all smile at the end of the fight as his fighter, Peter kept his promise. “Sam passed what was supposed to be the toughest test of his career by pitching a shutout,” said Duva. “Samuel is only 23 years old and is still learning, but we expect him to be ready for any heavyweight in the world in the near future." 0
