Hamilton sure of Falcons

Super Falcons
LAGOS - The Former manager of Nigeria’s senior male and women teams- Super Eagles and Super Falcons Paul Hamilton, has expressed optimistimism over the women’s team performance at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games soccer event.

Speaking with nigeriasports Thursday in Lagos, Hamilton said the quality of players in the team give room for such optimistic feelings that they would return with a medal.

He said “after watching them play series of friendly games, it is certain these set are a shade ahead of their previous counterparts.”

“Most of the players have also got enough experience and exposure that would carry them to the Olympic so I personally expect them to be good ambassador and perform better than their predecessors,” Hamilton told nigeriasports.com

“The players have been playing together for a long time now and I strongly believe that they are well blended to face other countries, after all they have been meeting in the competitions so I think they should have seen their short comings and corrected same before the Games,” he said
