In a chat with Nigeriasports.com the coach of JC Raiders noted that the two club sides (Enyimba of Aba and Rangers of Enugu) would go far in the tournament if they continue with the same determination that has taken them this far.

“Enyimba is a great club. Their performance in the local league has improved and with the calibre of players at their disposal I think there is nothing to be afraid of,” Ikhana who won the Caf champions league with Enyimba last season said.

“They are capable of retaining the trophy they won last year if they continue with this form,” he added.

The former national player is also impressed with the performance of Rangers international despite their 0-1 loss to APR of Rwanda in the Confederations Cup.

“They lost just 1-0 to the giant killers of the championship in Rwanda and I think they are capable of turning the table in the return leg” he concluded.

Enyimba is a good team, yes but they need to work harder more espacially in discipline on the pitch. I wish them best of luck in retaining their trophy this time. Rangers will go a long way and probably win this time around. (Is good seeing two Eastern Clubs representing Nigeria in Africa)

By the special grace of our ALMIGHTY GOD JESUS CHRIST,i'm confident that the Peoples Elephant of Aba and the flying Anthelops of Enugu will surelly make Nigeria proud this year in their continental outings...I advice well meaning Nigerians to put them in prayers so that the two cups will be brought back to Nigeria once again
