NPA players slam management

Players of Nigeria Port Authority (NPA) football club have blamed the club management for their loss to Kano Pillars last Saturday in Kano. Nigeriasports.com can report.

The team lost a lone goal to the home side and the players told Nigeriasports.com that their management contributed to the poor result and performance.

According to the players, their travelling schedule was chaotic and this had an adverse effect on the team.

“There was no time to rest; we were to leave for Kano on Thursday so as to get to the match venue on Friday morning and catch some rest but we ended up travelling on Friday for Saturday’s game,” one of the players who preferred anonymity told Nigeriasports.com

“We arrived Kano mid night after the long journey. If we had had enough rest we would have reduced Pillars to nothing,” another added.

The players also stressed that despite the club’s position on the table, they would have loved to speak on determination to steer the team off relegation but it is a huge responsibility of the management.
