In the men’s 20km Walk also decided, Kazeem Adeyemi won the event when he completed event in 1:51.56.64 and Oluwa John Odunuga made it in 1:57.21.66 for the silver medal while Dele Elegbede’s 2:26.76 earned him the bronze medal. In another development, the Athletic Federation of Nigeria has suspended the women pole vault event in the on-going Mobil Track and Field at the Abuja National Stadium. The suspension followed poor entry received from the female athletes in the event. Nigeriasports.com reliably gathered this morning that only one entry was received. “We require a minimum of four entries to allow for healthy competition.
